Reckoning Song (One Day) è sicuramente la sua canzone di maggior successo soprattutto nella versione remixata dal DJ e produttore tedesco Wankelmut.
Il 13 febbraio 2013 Asaf Avidan ha partecipato come ospite alla seconda serata del Festival di Sanremo, condotto da Fabio Fazio, cantando Reckoning Song in versione unplugged.

Ho adattato la traduzione presa dalla fonte citata al testo inglese (anch'esso da me leggermente modificato) corrispondente al video inserito. Le varie esecuzioni di Asaf Avidan sono di solito leggermente diverse, come pure è diversa l'esibizione di Sanremo. Ma ho preferito incorporare questo video sia per la fedeltà del testo inglese che per la minore qualità audio del video dal sito RAI.
Infine due righe sul significato di Reckoning Song: da reckoning day: il momento (il giorno) in cui una serie di errori e di misfatti si faranno sentire - the Reckoning Song è la canzone che racconta quel momento (secondo la mia interpretazione di non anglofono)
